‘Venice (A Long Decay)’ is the latest single from a Melbourne newcomer who goes by the name Eckul, an eerie dark-electro tune which has him teaming up with Sydney’s Blanco Son for his haunting vocals.
The inspiration for ‘Venice (A Long Decay)’ came from a guitarist Eckul passed playing in the streets of Venice a little while ago, and little did he know at the time that this experience would lead to some new music all of his own.
The track opens with the eerie sounds of Blanco Son’s voice as it creeps throughout Eckul’s dimly-lit arrangements of fuzzy synths, haunting percussive echoes and dark minimalistic production.
‘Venice (A Long Decay)’ is available now through Ten Hens Records.
