Many of us are very excited about the idea of this new album from Yeasayer, it is due out on April 1st and I certainly hope it is not someone’s idea of a joke.
Today Yeasayer have shared a video that gives us an up-close look at the album’s artwork; a tableau of sculptures, actors and digital images by the New York-based Canadian artist David Altmejd. Along with the video comes a really nice backing track which the band have said is not an actual single, but is a track form the album – the video is titled ‘Amen & Goodbye 6’, but on Twitter Yeasayer have said to call this one ‘Prophecy Gun’.
Yeasayer’s new album Amen & Goodbye will hit the shelves on April 1st through Mute Records.
