We have something a little bit different for you today. It’s the debut EP from a indie-classical ensemble out of Brisbane who call themselves Nonsemble, and Go Seigen vs. Fujisawa Kuranosuke is their impressive five-track debut.
Think Owen Pallett meets Boards of Canada and you’ll get a rough ideal of what to expect. You’ll hear duelling arrangements of Glockenspiel with piano, Cello against Bass Guitars, and the awesome power of two violins.
Let’s give a shout out to all of the performers behind Nonsemble; Hik Sugimoto (Drums, Glockenspiel), Flora Wong (Violin), Samuel Andrews (Violin), Kieran Welch (Viola), Briony Luttrell (Cello), Samuel Mitchell (Piano) and Chris Perren (Guitar, Bass Guitar)
Hit the ‘BUY’ button in the player above to show your appreciation, and of course to relive the experience of Go Seigen vs. Fujisawa Kuranosuke again and again.
