Gold Coast producer Daily Holla (aka Harry Deadman) is back this week with a brand new single and accompanying music video, titled ‘Waves’ it features the alluring voice of a newcomer who goes by the name J Fitz, and is the next peek at his forthcoming debut ep, ‘the HYPERCOLOUR collection’.

Personally I think this young Aussie’s music is incredible, and with influences like Bonobo, Kaytranada and Flume (I can also hear hints of Junior Boys, Caribou & M83 in his sound), we should all be keeping a very close eye on his movements.

While Daily Holla is also a film-maker himself, he decided to take a step back from that on this release and bring in the expertise of a former uni mate, and now film director/cinematographer Mark Desiatov, to help him take the ‘Waves’ story to the next level. The video follows the struggles of ballet dancer Jade Moris, as she suffers through injuries and anxiety leading up to a final performance, while J Fitz gives this this melodic-banger a juicy ambience that really enhances the overall song.

‘Waves’ is available now on Spotify & iTunes through Inertia Access, and stay tuned for the upcoming release of ‘the HYPERCOLOUR collection’.
