Whilst currently on tour undertaking a residency in London, LCD Soundsystem have gifted their diehard fans with an edit of their 2010-released track ‘Home’, which takes us on an epic synth-driven journey composed by synth-pop band W. H. Lung‘s own Tom Sharkett.
Sharkett’s edit of ‘Home’ ascends to an astronomical level within its duration, whereby the plethora of synths on offer created a thick wall of sound with plenty of buzzing energy to fill up every square inch of the mix on offer. With an inviting groove held in the percussion, ‘Home’ provides plenty of space for all to bask within and bop away at the tones of those soaring vocals that sit ever so nicely in the centre of the mix.
“It wasn’t really hiding, just sitting quietly online, but @tomsharkett’s edit of “Home” was too good to ignore. Originally a bootleg we first heard played on @flollid’s Breakfast Show (so nice, she played it twice), it wormed its way into our hearts and never left. So we made it official.
