Canadian duo Zeds Dead have combined forces with another powerhouse in HNTR for a dark and menacing collaboration titled ‘Aftertaste’ (featuring AIDN) via Zeds Dead’s sub-label label Altered States that packs a serious punch with its ferocious instrumentation and thumping drive that is the guaranteed energy shift you need to get through the day and/or night.
Throughout its near six-minute duration, ‘Aftertaste’ takes us on a profound journey through a fog initially that subtly inserts the darkened electronic influence through the mist and rises to the surface through the tantalising synths and pads setting the tone. With the thick four to the floor beat holding the foundations together, ‘Aftertaste’ takes full flight in the latter stages of the piece with an explosive send off that gives listeners the ultimate podium to lose themselves amongst the passion on display.
