Flume has just dropped a new mixtape titled “Things Don’t Always Go The Way You Plan” which is a ten-track collection of demos that were recorded between 2012 to 2020 and include collaborations with the likes of Injury Reserve, Isabella Manfredi and Panda Bear.

It’s also been 10 years since he changed the music scene forever and what better way to celebrate that then with a collection of unreleased material, and judging by his comment on Instagram, there’s a lot more on the way as well!

“It’s been ten years since my first record came out, since then I’ve wrote a lot a lot music and not all of it has seen the light of day. After seeing the reaction to Slugger 1.4 and how much love it got, I figured it would be fun to release more of these forgotten ideas I from my old laptops. The whole process has been quite cathartic. Here’s the first batch of tracks.” – Flume

He’s also just announce he’ll be doing a special 10th anniversary show in Los Angeles with Chet Faker & Kučka on support – register for tickets here
