“I have to give credit where credit’s due… Rosario, collaborator and longtime friend, coined the phrase [Cold Cuts] as the cover depicts my uncle Mario in his delicatessen in the 90s. The vibe is meant to be what the sounds of that period would have been, and really, when you break it down, not much has changed… I was working on the EP in America while I was living there. Unfortunately he [Mario] passed away, then Covid came, and I kinda shelved it for a bit but in the end I got around to finishing it. So here it is, Part 2 in a tribute series to my heroes.
