Fresh from touring with Toro Y Moi throughout November across Australia, Touch Sensitive continues the party in strong fashion with the release of a new banger in ‘Telling Myself’, a robust and addictive offering that features the sublime vocals of WILLS that is the latest cut off his recently released EP ‘Cold Cuts’ via Future Classic.

‘Telling Myself’ instills a nostalgia throughout its duration, whereby the soaring and uplifting synths deliver plenty of energy across the vibrant soundscape that is further enhanced by the driving rhythm section of crispy beats and a charismatic bass line that ensures plenty of confidence and swagger is held in the core of the composition. The beauty of ‘Telling Myself’ lies in the collation of sound on offer that allows listeners the perfect podium for moving and grooving with its utter beauty across the production that showcases the absolute best of Touch Sensitive.

“I have to give credit where credit’s due… Rosario, collaborator and longtime friend, coined the phrase [Cold Cuts] as the cover depicts my uncle Mario in his delicatessen in the 90s. The vibe is meant to be what the sounds of that period would have been, and really, when you break it down, not much has changed… I was working on the EP in America while I was living there. Unfortunately he [Mario] passed away, then Covid came, and I kinda shelved it for a bit but in the end I got around to finishing it. So here it is, Part 2 in a tribute series to my heroes. This time it’s my uncle Mario, an Italian’s Italian. R.I.P. this is for you.” – Touch Sensitive
