UK songwriter-producer Edward Knocks continues to leave listeners in awe with his captivating soundscapes through the release of a brand new single titled ‘Underwater’, the final single of the Water Trilogy that delves into a deep and introspective journey losing touch with oneself through a cross-genre sound palate on display that will send shivers down your spine.

Knocks begins with a hefty injection of electronic instrumentation drilled deep into the core of the track, providing that water-inspired landscape through bubbly synths and basses that implements a welcomed groove that is played off from the swirling vocals moving majestically through the soundscape that takes us into the passion-fuelled chorus. Edward Knocks leaves it all out in the open with his full vocal range on display, contrasting from the haunting falsettos to the pure emotion bleeding through the intensified mid range that when coupled with the crystal clear harmonies sends the whole release into a new dimension.

“We can be so solid in ideas and sense of self, but if we were more fluid and not define things too much, it would allow us to connect with people and therefore ourselves more. When we immerse in water, we feel free and light. The idea of the Water Trilogy is to celebrate this feeling.” – Edward Knocks.
