Following on from his most recent single ‘Queen of Wands’ a matter of months ago, psychedelic-funk multi-instrumentalist Kainalu continues to take us away into his world of vibrancy and uplift with his brand new release ‘Inhibitions / Intuitions’, a summer-fuelled delight that sees the pristine vocals of MUNYA on display for an enchanting collaboration.
From the word go, Kainalu brings the groove to the party with that ultra charismatic bass line and crunchy percussion oozing flavour and colour across the soundscape, all while his airy falsetto tones provide that extra dose of breeziness and ambiance to the spectrum. Evoking that sense of nostalgia through the laid-back funk influence in the mix, once we see the addition of MUNYA‘s angelic tones in production we see the track elevate to incredible heights which is matched by the shift in intensity courtesy of the screeching guitars and cosmic synths.
