Chinese-American newcomer Aguava has just released a new self-titled ep which is quite an impressive five-track collection of lo-fi/atmospheric house music that can easily soundtrack almost any occasion. I’ve really been enjoying his music over the last few months but I feel he has taken things to a whole new level with this new collection of songs and I’m very keen to see what else he has in-store for us now.
“Aguava is the vision I had for a sound that encapsulates all the music I love. This EP is a collection of tracks I’ve made in the past 1-2 years that felt cohesive and representative of my sound. I’ve always had an affinity for ethnic and world sounds and this project really showcases a lot of those instruments and vibes. These tracks are a combination of recorded foley, samples and instruments that I recorded into Ableton.” ~ Aguava
