Australian dance duo Set Mo are coming back to us this week with an invigorating electro-dance treat called ‘Something To Dream Of’ which has them teaming up with AUS/NZ artist Camp 8 for his soulful vocal sounds – and they do work perfectly well against Set Mo’s instrumental backdrop of pulsing beats, vibrant synths and golden percussion.

“This song is about the feeling of starting a new chapter and leaving your comfort zone to chase something greater. It made us super grateful for the life we live, the opportunities we have and the support from our nearest and dearest to make what we do as a ‘job’ a reality.

When we first heard Camp 8’s music we were blown away by his vocals. In our first session we learned that he had just quit his full-time job the week prior to pursue a career in music. It brought back memories of when we did the same thing and how exciting and terrifying that was. We jumped in the studio and decided we wanted to capture the apprehension around taking the plunge into an unconventional career and capture the self-talk that goes on through that decision making process.” – Set Mo

They’re also kicking-off a massive 16 date tour this weekend in Thredbo before playing a variety of other locations throughout June/August, including the support slot for SOFI TUKKER on their Splendour in the Grass sideshows – click here for more info
