It’s been a little while since we’ve last heard from Australian producer KILTER, but this week he’s making up for lost time with a summer-fuelled anthem alongside Brain Flowers (Toby Anagnostis and Nicholas Littlemore of PNAU) titled ‘Forever and Ever’, an energetic dance floor filler with plenty of groove and bass to go around.

The party begins immediately in ‘Forever and Ever’, with the infectious groove cementing its place within the engaging mix courtesy of the sublime bass standing tall whilst Kilter provides various shades of brightness with the uplifting synths swirling in the backdrop. With the breezy melodies of Brain Flowers and Nicole Millar on background vocals further elevating the laid-back nature of the release, the good times flow effortlessly throughout the duration of the track and shift into a new gear when that thumping synth bass takes control in the chorus.

“I was hanging out with my parents and this record from the 70s came on. The melodies were really ethereal and hallucinogenic and immediately jumped out as something that could be transformed into a slamming dance track. I’d heard Toby’s work with Nick as Brain Flowers and couldn’t think of a better fit for the track. Luckily, he was into the idea as I had already decided that he was the only person who could pull off a track like this making the soaring vocals sound effortless and cool. I headed off to Europe soon after recording in Sydney, so we bounced the track back and forth a little and even got cracking on some more music!” – Kilter
