Don’t know about you but I am very excited for this new Toro y Moi album which has arrived today. I’ve only given it a few full listens over the last couple hours but I am so in love with it already.
“MAHAL” is a generous 13-track collection of Toro’s unique indie/rock/disco/funk inspired music that just works so perfectly well. There are a few guests helping him out including Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Salami Rose Joe Louis, Sofie Royer and The Mattson 2, and while it is maybe a bit early to be saying this but I do think it’s going to among my top albums of this year.
You’ve done it again Toro y Moi, thank you!
