On April 29th Berlin-based / New Zealand-bred artist Noah Slee will be releasing his second album, “it takes a village”, and today he’s giving us another little preview of what we can expect with an invigorating new single called ‘GOLDEN’ which features some guest vocal work from German R&B artist Joy Denalane, and it also comes with a beautifully shot and self-directed music video.
“This song is about breakthroughs. About when you unlock something in your mind that has been hindering your soul and in that moment you feel GOLDEN. The video was a lot of fun to make. We shot in Mallorca (Spain) and in Berlin. I really don’t want to give too much away in terms of the intention to each scene but there is a lot of thought and story to the different shots. I wanted to find the balance of having it upbeat like the song but still create something that was visually beautiful but has a story that is reflective of my experience and my world.” – Noah Slee
