Australian-bred / NYC-based producer BRUX (who formerly used to record under the name Elizabeth Rose) is giving us a new four-track ep today called ‘Take’ which is going to do exactly that to your attention.

BRUX has created a unique blend of energy-driven electronica that pushes the boundaries of contemporary dance music. There’s a little cameo vocal appearance from Australian artist Kimbra on title-track ‘Take’ and BRUX also gives us some insight below into the ep’s focus track ‘Push’.

“The Take EP is all about regaining power and autonomy, whatever it takes to get it back. ‘Push’ is the final surge of energy in the collection – it’s urgent and daring with lots of movement and colour. It’s my favourite track to play live and it also has that similar cheeky energy lyrically to Step Down “don’t beat around the bush I need your pushin’ not your love…” – BRUX
