Young Franco dropped the perfect little mood-booster last Friday called ‘Rollout’ which features a very cool ensemble of guests; UK rap/hip-hop artists Jay Prince and Scrufizzer, alongside Australian electro/funk duo Close Counters.

As Close Counters reveal below this song originally conceived during a little jam sesh between them and Young Franco which they managed to squeeze-in while passing through Sydney on tour back in January. The song was then passed onto Scrufizzer and Jay Prince to add some of their special flavours and the result really does speak for itself.

“The first demo for ROLLOUT was born out of a jam with Young Franco while visiting Sydney for a tour show in January 2020. After that Franco sent it to Scruffizer who he’d previously collaborated with in 2017 on their track About This Thing which we were big fans of. Scruf sent back some vocals almost immediately with his infectious chorus. We then re-arranged the tune and made space for Jay Prince to make an appearance with a guest verse and pre-chorus idea. We’re super big fans of Young Franco, Scruffizer and Jay Prince so it was a real honour to be involved in the production of this track!“
