MY PLAYLIST is a series where we ask some of our favourite artists to share some of their favourite songs, and while it may give us a bit of insight into some of their influences, we’re actually more interested to know what they enjoy listening to when they’re not making music.

This week we’re checking in with NZ/LA siblings BROODS who have just released their latest album “Space Island” (via Universal Music Australia) which is a very fun ten-track collection of indie/dance/pop music that we just can’t get enough of, and it’s really great to see what sort of music was inspiring them throughout that songwriting period.

“These songs have been a daily escape over the last couple of years, both old favourites and newcomers too. Not only have these songs brought so much comfort but also have inspired our own music and songwriting too.

I hope these all time favourites of ours bring you the same joy they bring us!” – Caleb Nott (of BROODS)
