Electronic Music Conference (aka EMC) is coming back to us this year with a reformatted one-day conference they are calling “The Reboot” which is taking place at the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney on Tuesday, April 5th.

Two of the stand-out features of this year’s event are the “Masterclass Program” and “Next Generation Scholarships” which they say are dedicated to the development of independent artists who have been stunted by the last two years of lockdowns.

The “Masterclass Program” will see Australian artists Nina Las Vegas, Human Movement and Setwun each hosting an intensive full-day of masterclasses located at “The Lab” inside the Powerhouse Museum – you can find more info on all of that right here

The inaugural “Next Generation Scholarship” program offers six-months of intensive professional development to three chosen participants (one from each masterclass). This program has been designed to support emerging artists in electronic and dance music which has a multi-faceted approach that provides one-on-one professional development sessions for each participant, working with industry experts in the areas of Artist Management, Music Production, Live Performance Development, Marketing and PR, and DIY Releasing – you can find more information on all of that right here

“The Reboot” conference schedule is up on their site now but you will need to get your tickets asap to guarantee yourself a seat – schedule and ticketing info
