After smashing his way onto the scene last year with his debut single ‘To The Sun’, Melbourne singer-songwriter and producer HorrorPrty returns today with an amalgamation of sound and influence in his mesmerising new release ‘Bury Me’ that you’ll find yourself lost within – and we’re pumped to be premiering the track for you today!

‘Bury Me’ showcases a multi-genre approach to his soundscape, with a smoothened bass line and brittle percussion foundation evoking some serious grooves in the backdrop whilst the soaring guitars provide plenty of ambiance alongside the breezy melodies of HorrorPrty that float freely above the mix in a haunting yet gentle manner. These elements intertwine seamlessly in the chorus to lift the intensity of the piece whilst maintaining that atmospheric feeling, most evidently in the vocals and harmonies that elevate to extraordinary heights when combined.

“The inspiration for Bury Me began with the hooky bass line. I wanted to create something upbeat and funky, with a hint of dark chilling undertones. The atmospheric guitars were inspired by bands like Bring Me The Horizon, Thornhill and Northlane and adds to the dark atmospheric mood. Bury Me dives deep into the exploration of trauma and abandonment. The discovery that you will never be the person some may have wanted you to become.” – HorrorPrty
