It’s been a little while since we last heard from Sydney producer/vocalist Kid Fiction, but he’s making up for lost time with his first single since his 2019 EP ‘Unburdened’ with a slow burner titled ‘Nora’ that comes through with plenty of heat in the polished production and silky vocals that magnetise all within their path.

‘Nora’ sees the absolute best of Kid Fiction‘s vocals as they display pure emotion through the effortless flow between the lower and higher register of his range melding into the deepened electronic beats and vigorous synths, showcasing a minimalistic approach to the composition whilst maintaining a pristine polish throughout the production.

“It’s kind of a pop ballad stripped of all its extravagance…it’s about being vulnerable and confronting hard truths. Casting off the layers of niceties we use to hide behind” – Kid Fiction
