It’s hard to believe that it’s been nearly three years since ‘Solace’ was released, and fans have been begging for new music from Australia’s own RÜFÜS DU SOL since and today they’ve come through with an absolute belter of a track in the form of ‘Alive’, a darkened electronic offering filled with haunting vocals and penetrating instrumentation that leaves an impact on you immediately.

‘Alive’ sees the trio delve back into a dark and menacing soundscape that they’ve made their own over the years, with enforcing synths and bass intensifying the mix significantly alongside an energetic groove held in the drums. These elements all work in cohesion with lead singer Tyrone Lindqvist’s eerie melodies that soar effortlessly atop the mix, whilst commanding your attention with the powerful high register sending us into the explosive chorus where we are led to the absolute best of the trio on display.
