German producer Rezident provides us all with a dreamy soundscape we can all escape our troubles in with his brand new EP ‘Reflection’, a three track offering that combines atmospheric and spacious instrumentation with electronically inspired drum grooves that results in a tranquil delight.
‘Reflection’ creates this spaciousness in each mix through a clear focus on reverberated elements like the vocal samples buoyantly moving about, whilst the backdrop of deepened beats and rich pianos set the foundations just right ambience to be at the perfect levels. Whilst there is a central focus on relaxation, Rezident provides a subtle club energy with the synths compiled that balances the tightrope between contemplation and liveliness just right.
