We’ve been massive fans of UK R&B artist James Vickery over the past few years, charming us with his utterly divine vocals and super-smooth grooves on offer and now he’s given fans what they’ve been pleading for with the release of his debut album ‘Songs That Made Me Feel’.

With previous singles ‘Somewhere, Out There’, ‘Come To Me’, ‘Hourglass’, ‘You Comfort Me’ and recent SG Lewis-produced ‘Finally’, ‘Songs That Made Me Feel’ evokes a sense of nostalgia with its tribute to the old school days of R&B with pure emotion showcased across the astonishing melodies and harmonies on offer, whilst a luscious blend of keys and percussion sets the mood just right to bring the sultriness across.

“Growing up in and out of hospital with a hearing impairment was extremely tough for me… If I hadn’t started going to speech therapy at a young age, I’m not sure I would have ever found my voice. The truth is I found out I could sing, almost accidentally because of speech therapy, and never looked back since…” – James Vickery
