After the critical acclaim received for his debut self-titled album last year, Australian producer Ukiyo takes us back to where it all began five years ago with ‘Bliss’, a nostalgic off-kilter offering filled with thrilling instrumentation and infectious grooves that collectively produces a considerable amount of colour.

With a swift two and a half minute duration, Ukiyo wastes no time and brings forth the hypnotising instrumentation of divine strings, haunting samples and an ultra smooth bass that works cooperatively with the penetrating drums to create a thickened wall of sound. ‘Bliss’ showcases a considerable amount of depth in production from Ukiyo as he utilises a significant amount of samples and sporadic synths without clashing into each other, thus allowing a subtle rise in intensity without impacting the overall integrity of the mix.

“It’s all about the beauty of nostalgia and the song itself is a big throwback to the style of music I was making when I first started Ukiyo in 2016.  Hope it gives you some… ~~bliss~~” – Ukiyo
