Following on from the highly acclaimed singles in ‘Telephone’ and ‘Brown Angel’, Tamaraebi continues to show us why he is a star on the rise with the release of his new six-track EP ‘Spectrum’, a genre-bending offering that provides pristine vocals coupled with vibrant soundscapes full of movement.

‘Spectrum’ utilises plenty of influence from the R&B, pop and electronic realms with his instrumentation composition, whereby the smooth foundations of playful beats and groovy bass lines carry forth plenty of swagger that is heightened by the brightness held in the guitars and synths. Throw the cherry on top in his extremely divine vocals that leave you absolutely gobsmacked with their raw beauty and you’ve got yourself an extremely well-rounded offering that’ll age like a fine wine.

“I have so many different approaches and it’s all still me,” he explains. “I feel like I need to integrate every part of myself because all the parts make the whole and I feel that a lot of people in the world are afraid to express parts of themselves they feel they will get judged for. With this project, I want people to connect with the parts of themselves that they think are ugly or that others won’t really get and just be free to be what they want.” – Tamaraebi
