After their monster hit ‘Stay’ with Australia’s own The Aston Shuffle, German producer Fabich teams up once again Dana Williams for a luscious new collaboration titled ‘Get Away’, the latest glimpse from Fabich‘s forthcoming album that provides a tranquility through its blend of soul and R&B goodness.

‘Get Away’ taps into a near Spanish soundscape, through the charismatic guitars and bass line crooning away in a majestic manner that swells right into Williams’ carefree melodies that float about atop of the mix. With a sense of nostalgia utilised with some carefully utilised production techniques, Fabich maintains a sun-kissed nature throughout the duration of ‘Get Away’, carefully balancing the tightrope between a soulful instrumentation base that compliments Williams’ divine melodies ever so nicely.

“Get away” is one of my favourite songs of the album as I made it in a time where I felt stuck in my life emotionally and physically in Berlin (literally because of the lockdowns!) and was dreaming of the past and better days ahead. The sample for the song is a few decades old and from a Hawaiian band. The vibe instantly hit me and I flipped the sample into a soulful and melancholic, yet feel good song! Dana Williams and I wanted to follow up our big success with  “stay” together with the Aston Shuffle for a while and when I had the idea for this song I knew that this would be the record for her!” – Fabich
