With their latest infectiously addictive single ‘The Princess and the Clock’ still ringing in our ears, alternative-pop trio Kero Kero Bonito continue to bring through their brand of synthetic goodness in the form of their brand new EP ‘Civilisation II’, a three-track delight that sparkles so bring with its electrifying beauty.

‘Civilisation II’ comes through with two brand new singles in ’21/04/2021′ and ‘Well Rested’ that flow on quite nicely from ‘The Princess and the Clock’ by maintaining a crystallised soundscape full of shimmer and shine. Kero Kero Bonito utilise a vast array of synths to create a thick wall of sound across each of the tracks, and intertwine these elements with some punchy percussion and soaring vocals that heightens the release significantly.

“Like its predecessor, Civilisation II explores lost world art pop, made entirely with old synthesisers and assorted junk in our quest to realise a fantastical parallel timeline for pop music, with lyrics encompassing religion, our society and the environment.” – Kero Kero Bonito
