Los Angeles artist Emmit Fenn has been charming audiences for years with his intimate and gripping soundscapes, and in the case of his debut album ‘Far From Here’ the trend has never been stronger with a unique blend of raw & electronic instrumentation on offer combining for a resounding 10 individually brilliant tracks.

‘Far From Here’ provides a wide variety of moods throughout its duration, with Fenn completely baring all with his vulnerable lyricism that contrasts moments of sorrow with energetic and uplifting grooves. Fenn opens up completely to the listeners and lays it all on the line with his gripping vocals leaving us all with goosebumps, especially when those crystal clear harmonies come to the forefront. Through a wide range of depth in the instrumentation used, whether that is the stunning acoustic guitars and pianos or the soaring synths, it is clear that there’s nothing Emmit Fenn can’t do in this world with his ever-growing production artillery.

“The main theme of this album is finding hope in vulnerability. With this album, I wanted to be completely open about my past on a very intimate level and show how I’ve grown from it. The title of the album ‘Far From Here’ refers to the place that we want to escape to when we feel hopeless and that is what I wish for the album to be for the listener; a place in which they can escape to when they feel like they have nowhere else to go.” – Emmit Fenn
