What a year we’ve all experienced in 2020! With constant twists and turns at every corner, I feel that the one thing that stayed consistent throughout the year was absorbing as much great new music as possible.

For myself, my music listening ranges across various genres and I feel this is truly reflected in my top 10 albums of the year. With elements of heavy/alternative rock, electronic and pop on display, I am eternally grateful for the discovery of Machine Gun Kelly throughout 2020 and really admired his ability to change his sound up so dramatically and nail it on all fronts.

My list also features an artist that I have had the pleasure of working with (as their manager), dekleyn, who released their incredible debut album this year. Experiencing first-hand just how much went into creating, developing & releasing this project was a major highlight.

Others throughout this year were YUNGBLUD, Luboku and Baynk’s respective works which have become a huge staple in my Spotify lists.

The emoji that best sums up my year: ⛰️

1. Dekleyn – ‘
Dekleyn’

2. Machine Gun Kelly – Tickets To My Downfall

3. Bring Me The Horizon – Post Human: Survival Horror

4. Disclosure – Energy

5. Baynk – A Study Of Movement

6. TWO LANES – Lights

7. YUNGBLUD – Weird!

8. Luboku – Space Walk

9. Kygo – Golden Hour

10. The 1975 – Notes On A Conditional Form
