British deep/tech-house DJ/producer Hot Since 82 and English producer/singer/multi-instrumentalist Ed Graves have come through with a monster collaborative effort titled ‘Simmerman’, an alluring electronic offering with plenty of depth in production on offer.
With plenty of charisma on offer from the word go through those smooth guitars, Hot Since 82 sets the mood just right through the playful groove in the percussion and brooding synths that act as the perfect launching platform for Graves’ hazy vocals to create the unsettling sensation in the mix. ‘Simmerman’ takes it up a notch in the chorus where we are hit with the wall of synths that shatter through the soundscape with their sheer force and raise the intensity to an emphatic level.
