MY PLAYLIST is a series where we ask some of our favourite artists to share some of their favourite songs, and while it may give us a bit of insight into some their influences we’re also interested to see what they enjoy listening to when they’re not making music.
Just recently Portuguese producer Moullinex announced that he’ll be giving us a brand-new album in March 2021 and also gave us a taste of that with new single ‘Running In The Dark’, and I thought it was the perfect chance to check in with him to ask what he’s been listening to!
“Now that dancefloors aren’t possible, I often find myself escaping reality through fiction. Books and video games help, but music has been my main source of peace.
Not peaceful music per se, but music which allows me to travel and disconnect a bit from the real world. My form of meditation, perhaps. I’ve been updating my ESCAPE playlist regularly with such music ever since lockdown started in March.” – Moullinex
