Over the last few months we have been treated to a few very cool singles from German artist Roosevelt and I’ve been praying to the music-gods that he had a new album on the way.
Today those prayers have been answered…well almost.
Roosevelt has just released a new song called ‘Feels Right’ which also comes with news of his next album “Polydans” that is set for release in February and I am so very excited by this!
“Feels Right’ is about a feeling of stoic empowerment. When I wrote the song, it began with an ESG-influenced funk loop, which even in its rawest form had something very euphoric and playful.
It’s definitely one of the songs on the album that came together really easily – one of these where the song dictates which direction to go rather than you overthinking it for weeks.” – Roosevelt
