Today we’re giving you the very first listen of this brand-new single from Australian duo Me Again. It’s called ‘Last Night’ and it sure going to hit a few of those sweet spots with its driving nostalgic synths, slick hip-thrusting production and powerful melodies that will make you want to scream along with them.
“In June during a studio session on another track we decided to take a break and start recording some of the demo ideas we had for ‘Last Night’. Things started taking shape really quickly, we wanted to have the usual chill verses and emotive songwriting but then teleport into a big electronic/synth driven chorus. We just started to have fun with it. Being in a studio where every instrument is at arms reach just made the whole process a lot more fun and unpredictable. We felt that it really captured what Me Again is all about.
The song itself is based on finally building up the courage to move on from a toxic relationship and feeling proud of it!” – Me Again
