Stockholm based producer and writer Alec Baker has kept himself busy this year with a plethora of new singles under his belt, and today comes through with his first single from his forthcoming debut mini album ‘Ballet’ in ‘Say What’s On Your Mind’ – an alternative/pop gem that is full of life whilst depicting a relationship in turmoil.
‘Say What’s On Your Mind’ immediately commands your attention with a punchy beat combining with the twanging guitars that inject a quirkiness into the soundscape alongside Baker’s modulated vocals. With the robust synth bass blaring through your speakers in the chorus, ‘Say What’s On Your Mind’ provides plenty of depth in its production with plenty of elements playing on offer yet melding together for a futuristic delight.
Alec explains that the track “is a result of accidents leading us in new directions, and a bit different from my previous releases. It’s an uptempo hopeful song that I had so much fun creating so I wish it can bring some thoughtfulness and joy to the listener.”
