MY PLAYLIST is a series where we ask some of our favourite artists to share some of their favourite songs, and while it may give us a bit of insight into some their influences we’re also interested to see what they enjoy listening to when they’re not making music.
This week we’re checking in with Australian artist Golden Vessel who has given us an eclectic collection of songs that have been getting him excited recently.
“Here is a little playlist of music that’s been making me excited lately!
As you can see it’s a pretty eclectic mix and doesn’t make much sense, but I think that’s why I’m listening to these songs, to try and figure out what I like about them and how to incorporate that into what I make.
I’m currently mixing my band Lucky Idiot, making house music for a side project, thinking about the next Golden Vessel album and producing Akurei, so I think that’s why my listening habits have also been so sporadic haha.” – Golden Vessel
Golden Vessel will be releasing his new album “colt” on October 15th via sumoclic, and just last week he gave us this awesome little teaser titled ‘that’s us’ featuring Rei So La & The Nicholas.
