It’s been a little while since we’ve heard from Aash Mehta, and now it seems that he’s making up for lost time with the release of his latest EP ‘For the Love of It’ that sees the producer hone in further on his brand of highly emphatic electronic music.

Over the years we’ve seen Mehta delve deeper and deeper into atmospheric electronica that belongs in the festival circuit, and in the case of ‘For the Love of It’ we see him further strengthen that claim through the crystal-clear production levels on offer. With ambient bliss injected across the soundscapes through the use of heavenly pads creating a wall of sound, as well as organic elements such as the elegant pianos in small doses, Aash Mehta delivers yet again the type of uplifting and calming tunes that we all need right now.

‘The “For the Love of It” EP is an honest representation of my journey with music – from the childlike curiosity and happiness, through the countless instances of self-doubt and rejection, to focusing on the love and joy that music brings me and everyone around the world.’ – Aash Mehta
