A few weeks back we featured a track called ‘Fabric’ by Riun Garner, a new artist out of Vancouver who is making this beautifully chilled indie-electro/folk music that is hitting a few of my sweet spots.

Riun Garner has since released his four-track debut ep “All We Know and All We Forget” which he recorded with the help of some close friends over a weekend last November onto an analog reel-to-reel tape machine that had been found abandoned in a apartment hallway.

“I don’t want to be just another sad folk singer-songwriter with a cabin in the woods. I hope to break the cliche of what a indie folk singer-songwriter can be. This is a record of pain and hope, of loss and isolation, and the insecurities of being forgotten.” – Riun Garner
