Icelandic artist Jónsi, who is most known for his work as the frontman of Sigur Rós, has brought forth to us this week a futuristic offering full of genre-bending twists and turns titled ‘Swill’ – which just so happens to be the latest glimpse of his forthcoming solo album ‘Shiver’ which is due for release in October.

As the name suggests, ‘Swill’ is full of surprising twists and turns that bring forth a glimpse into a new world. With spellbinding and robust synths piercing through the mix, as well as penetrating drums, Jónsi lures you in immediately as the track and keeps you on the edge of your seat with the cinematic soundscape on offer.

The sentiments of cinematic and futuristic adventures is most prevalent in the artistically driven music video, whereby director Barnaby Roper and animator Pandagunda combine forces to drive forth the synthetic nature of the audio and provide a great contrast between reality and the AI of tomorrow.
