Bringing forth a raw and intimate look into mental health within his own life, London artist SXMSON breaks down the walls for his new electronic/pop ballad ‘Smile’ as well as the accompanying new music video.

Directed and edited by LCPRN, ‘Smile’ features London-based Drag Queen Barbs who stars alongside SXMSON in a comforting role for each other, raising awareness of mental health issues within the LGBTQ+ community in current times.

“I had known for quite some time that I wanted to include and represent an aspect of the Drag community in this music video because I have so much respect for them. The more I became good friends with people who are professional Drag Queens, the more I came to realise and understand how complex being a Drag Queen can be…It’s not all glitz and glam, as some people might like to think. Having Barbs involved in this project was amazing as they allowed LCPRN to capture an authentic and touching performance.” – SXMSON
