Carl Louis - Silent Soldier (LP)

Just a few weeks ago I received this track called ‘Something Better’ by a Norwegian artist who goes by the name Carl Louis, along with that track also came news of his debut album “Silent Soldier”.

Since then I reckon I’ve listened to that album at least a 1,000 times and I really wanted to make sure that you guys were across it as well.

The press info says that Carl’s album “combines influence from fellow Scandinavian artists Peter, Bjorn and John, Miike Snow and Radio Dept“, but for me his music makes me think of an even mix between two of my fave artists Caribou and Roosevelt, which would explain why I’m vibing it so hard.

This album is going to soundtrack my summer just nicely – thanks Carl!
