17 year old producer Tari has come through with a bubbly and lively new single perfect for summer titled ‘Fake Love’ which features Emilia Ali that is sure to get stuck in your head immediately after the first listen.
‘Fake Love’ brings forth that vivacious nature immediately with the playful instrumentation bouncing around in partnership with Ali’s charming melodies. The track builds quite nicely, with the relatable lyricism moving swiftly through the mix before the signalling lyric ‘bounce’ instills a colourful drop full of energy and positivity.
‘The beginnings of ‘Fake Love’ came about a year ago while messing around with sound design. I ended up creating a fairly simple melody and the bass line and drums quickly followed. I do remember it was a nice summer’s day when I wrote it, so I must have felt happy in that moment. The lyrics and vocals by Emilia Ali followed nicely, all written from her perspective’ – Tari
