Over the last few months Australian artist cln has shared three very nice new singles (‘What I Know’, ‘Own Skin’ & ‘Waiting For You’), and has also teased with word of an upcoming debut album.
It’s not album time just yet but cln does have another teaser for us this week. It’s called ‘Fade To Grey’ and you better prepare yourself to be carried away in its beautifully chilled sounds.
‘This song was a result of experimentation with new sounds and textures. While I was working on this song, I realised I’d been trying to pigeonhole myself into a particular style rather than make whatever comes naturally. At that point I decided that I should try avoiding sticking to a particular ‘sound’ and instead experiment as much as possible and see what happens. This song doesn’t really sound like anything else I’ve made – but I like it anyway.’ – cln
There’s no official word on the album’s release date just yet but we’ll be sure to keep you all in the loop on that news as it comes to light.
