Following on from the critically acclaimed ‘album1’ released late last year, San Holo brings forth his most raw and honest offering to date in ‘Lead Me Back’, delving into an intriguing blend of folk and electronic genres.

Whilst maintaining his trademark emphatic electronic roots, ‘Lead Me Back’ sees a focus on the acoustic guitar and echoed vocal melodies to transcend the folk element through the piece, whilst intensifying the soundscape with a colourful and electrified chorus.

“‘Lead Me Back’ is a very simple song about growing apart and longing to go back to the days when that wasn’t the case yet, and the internal struggle of why that keeps happening to everyone I’m been with. I thought about not releasing the song at all because it’s a very personal song, with me singing and playing the guitar so I literally feel like I’m naked.” – San Holo
