Lolo Zouaï returns this week with not one but two brand-new tunes, ‘Lose Myself’ and ‘Jade’ which features Blood Orange and was produced by Stelios, and together they’re being packaged as ‘Ocean Beach’.
Both of these tracks are quite beautiful and melancholy with hints of love and romance throughout, and ‘Jade’ also comes with a Nick Harwood directed music video that also stars Lolo Zouaï and Blood Orange.
“We shot the video at a house in LA at the end of last year. The place was listed online as ‘Legendary Sunset Hollywood Villa’. It was actually where they shot the original Ocean’s 11 with Frank Sinatra, so the place already had that classic cinematic energy.
Nick Harwood (the director) came up with this great concept, and we wanted the camera to feel like a silent character in the video – as if someone was creeping alongside us the whole time. I think it really fits with the themes in the song.” – Lolo Zouaï
