Fresh from being featured on Beats 1 as Zane Lowe’s World Record, London’s own Little Simz picks up from where she left off with the release of two empowering singles ‘Offence’ & ‘Boss’, both showcasing a mastery in production and enticing vocal offerings that are sure to leave you spellbound.

‘Offence’ from the word go grabs your attention with the appealing percussion pulling you in, cohesively forming a strong partnership with the fat sounding bass. Once the pure fire from Little Simz is spread across the mix it is hard not to sit back and admire the pure talent on display, especially during the moments of the gang vocals that exemplify the attitude centralised within the track.

‘Boss’ oozes swagger from minute one courtesy of the colourful bass line captivating instantly with every note, that is contrasted with the distorted vocals that stab in and out of the soundscape to provide a resounding colour palate early on. Compared to ‘Offence’, Little Simz changes her trajectory and chooses a more aggressive delivery on her vocals that matches the intensity of the yells to transcend the hostility within.
