Jarreau Vandal today unveils his debut thirteen-track mixtape ‘Anthology’, marking a new direction for the artist with a focus on live instrumentation.
The mixtape allows Vandal to apply different lenses to his life, especially the most crucial moments of his life. ‘What You Saying’ is an infectious track with steel drums, a funky slap bass, and vocals from TĀLĀ. While Westside takes it back a notch, allowing the vocals to take centre, and Vandal’s deft production skills to take a more subtle approach. Peppered throughout the work are skits that could be singles on their own, proving that Vandal has an outpouring of talent ready to go.
