The track gives space for Fenn and Mensa to share experiences and tales about families ripped apart in the country of prosperity. The artists come from vastly different backgrounds, making the track unique and layered. Mensa delivers verses about gun control, coming from the position of a gun owner himself.
“Vic told a beautiful story on the verses and the video ties together with a lot going on in the world right now. The song to me, and why I originally wrote it in the first place was just this realization that we don’t have to face problems in our life alone. There are so many outlets for support that we can forget about and it’s important to realize that we’re much stronger when we face them together.” – Emmit Fenn
