Hounded - 'Higher' (ft. Tom Montesi)

We’ve been a big supporter of Australian producer Hounded for some time now, and just recently he signed his first record deal with two of the big-dawgs in the industry, Casablanca Records & Universal Music Australia, and along with that awesome news also comes his latest single, ‘Higher’.

This track is a continuation of Hounded’s uplifting, feel-good, summery, trop-pop styled sound, it features the voice of Adelaide artist Tom Montesi, and it also comes with a very cool Sejon Im directed music video.

“I really wanted stray away from the dancey pop approach I had taken before with my last singles. So for this one I focused on slowing things down and creating a theme rather than playing it safe. I found an African choir and built the song around that sample. I tried to use instruments that the listener could imagine this choir where using while they were singing.” – Hounded
