Brighton producer El Train brings forth his first offering of 2018 in the form of ‘She’, featuring London rapper Barney Artist, and delivering a unique blend of the hip-hop and electronic realms that achieves quite significant groove that’ll be sure to get you moving.

El Train begins ‘She’ through a central focus on ambient delayed pads combining with a brooding bass-line that creates the perfect amount of intrigue before Barney Artist’s enters the arena, luring us in with significant swagger that is heightened with the implementation of some crisp percussion. Considering that there’s quite a lot going on in the mix as we move through, El Train brilliantly manipulates the production to ensure that the various elements on display do not overbear the overall feeling of the track.

Whether it is the airy backing vocals, the smooth bass-line crooning through or the lightness within the keys, these elements achieve significant depth in the production levels of El Train and when combined with the character lying in Barney Artist’s melodies, we are left in awe of an impressive piece of music.
